Ronald Reagan Library Mystery

From the Associated Press:

"The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum can't locate or account for tens of thousands of valuable mementos of Reagan's White House years, according to a published report.
"An audit by the National Archives inspector general concluded that the library in Simi Valley was unable to properly account for more than 80,000 objects out of its collection of some 100,000 artifacts"

I wonder: Has anyone contacted O.J.?

You think OJ may have stolen Reagan's Heisman Trophy? Did he win that back when he was The Gipper? I remember him as The Gipper, waking up, seeing his legs were missing, and shouting "WHERE'S THE REST OF ME?" (His best-ever acting performance until his testimony before Congress during the Iranscam hearings.) OJ must have taken his legs.

So they "Can't account for" 80,000 items out of 100,000 items, or to put it the other way, they can only account for 20,000 out of 100,000 items? So FOUR-FIFTHS of the collection is missing? What lax security. Who guards the place? Reagan?

Of course "Can't account for" could mean they have the stuff but can't explain - legally - where it came from. The news accounts I read said they were all "gifts" received while in office. Another word for "Gifts" is "Bribes".

I guess, in honor of Reagan, the whole staff has Alzheimer's.

Even after death, Reagan's monumental greed, graft and scandals continue.

LOCK UP NANCY NOW, before she steals more! (By "Nancy" I mean Nancy Davis Reagan, not your wife.)

OJ and Nancy sitting in a tree,
S-T-E-A-L-I-N-G.
First comes love,
Then comes marriage,
Then comes the plundering of the economy, the devastation of the environment, and the rape of The Constitution.
